CHLORINATED RUBBER ENAMELQuick drying multi-purpose enamel with highly chemical resistant properties. Can be applied directly to degreased, rust free metal. Good exterior weathering properties and very low water-vapour permeability.SPREADING RATETypically 10 square metres per litre.APPLICATIONFor metal surfaces, ensure that the surface to be coated is free of oil, dirt and loose material. Wire brush or sand down previously rusted surfaces to metal. Apply with good quality brush or mohair roller. If the coating is a spray application, ensure the product is applied in a controlled, wind free environment as due to the fast drying nature of the product, cob-webbing is possible.Suitable for application directly to dry masonry surfaces. On friable surfaces the first coat should be thinned up to 10%. Over-coating time is 2 hrs. This product should not be used where hydrocarbon solvents, fuels or oil spillages are likely.
