High pressure water jet to clean and remove any chalking paint. If fungal growth was evident, apply another coat of WeatherPrufe Fungal Wash. Allow to dry. PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACESPrime exposed surfaces with one coat of WeatherPrufe Masonry Primer.Allow to dry for 8 hours. Apply two top coats of WeatherPrufe Adhesion Promoted or Pure Acrylic Roof Paint at 4 hourly intervals. UNPAINTED SURFACESPrime using one coat of WeatherPrufe Masonry Primer.Allow to dry for 8 hours. Apply two top coats of WeatherPrufe Adhesion Promoted or Pure Acrylic Roof Paint at 4 hourly intervals. Prime coat:Masonry Primer (spread rate 6 – 8 sqm per litre) Top coat: Adhesion Promoted Acrylic Roof (spread rate 8 – 10 sqm per litre) Pure Acrylic Roof Paint (spread rate 8 – 10 sqm per litre) WeatherKlad Pure Acrylic (spread rate 6 – 8 sqm per litre) Flat surface area needs to be calculated taking into account the profile of the roof sheets or tiles. |
