PREVIOUSLY PAINTED MASONRY SUBSTRATE WITH MICROBIOLOGICAL GROWTHPREPARATIONSterilize surface with a saturation coat of water-based WeatherPrufe Fungal Wash (approved by the Thales Institute for wine cellars). The approximate spread rate (dependant on porosity of substrate) between 8 – 15 sqm per litre.Once allowed to dry, surface is to be thoroughly hand cleaned by using either a sugar soap solution or an approved mild degreaser and allowed to dry. Apply another saturation coat of water-based WeatherPrufe Fungal Wash. Allow to dry. Please note: Personal protective gear needs to be worn when applying this product – gloves, apron & mask. Ensure that applicators are aware of the toxicity of the product and that care is exercised when using this product. APPLICATIONOnce above procedure is completed, apply two coats of WeatherPrufe CellarKlad Pure Acrylic (as approved by the Thales Institute for use in wine cellars) at a spread rate of 8 – 10 sqm per litre per coat, allowing a drying time of 6 hours in between coats.We at WeatherPrufe Coatings guarantee a paint film life expectancy of WeatherPrufe CellarKlad Pure Acrylic with fungicide/algaecide additive for five years, providing the above specifications have been monitored by that of an approved representative. |
