“TORCH ON” BITUMINOUS MEMBRANE

PREPARATION

Newly applied bituminous membranes should be allowed to “weather” for at least one month to allow “wet” patches to dry.
Any loose material should be brushed off the surface.  Allow to dry.

PREVIOUSLY COATED (Bituminous Aluminum)

Remove all loose material. Loosely bound Aluminum flakes can best be removed by mopping down with Mineral Turpentine.
Allow to dry.
Apply two top coats of WeatherPrufe Super Acrylic ST, at a spread rate of 8 – 10 sqm per litre per coat, in approved colour at 4 hourly intervals.

UNPAINTED SURFACES

Ensure that the surface to be coated has weathered sufficiently as above and is free of loose material.
Apply two top coats of WeatherPrufe Super Acrylic ST, at a spread rate of 8 – 10 sqm per litre per coat, in approved colour at 4 hourly intervals
