ROOFS USING WEATHERKLADPREPARATIONUpon initial inspection, should any fungal growth be evident, sterilize the surface prior to cleaning with a saturation coat of WeatherPrufe Fungal Wash (spread rate between 8 – 15 sqm per litre per coat, depending on the porosity of the substrate)*Personal protective gear should be worn when applying this product: gloves, apron and mask Once dry, clean thoroughly by means of high pressure water jet and allow to dry Apply another saturation coat of WeatherPrufe Fungal Wash and allow to dry Should no fungal growth be evident, clean by means of high pressure water jet and allow to dry FIBRE CEMENT ROOF SHEETS AND TILES New or exposed surfaces, apply one coat of Masonry Primer and allow to dry for 8 hours METAL ROOF SHEETS New or exposed surfaces, apply one coat of Etch Primer and allow to dry for 4 hours CHROMADEK ROOFS Refer WeatherPrufe Spec APPLICATIONApply with lambs-wool roller or good quality brushApply one coat of WeatherPrufe WeatherKlad as per spread rate Allow a drying time of 4 hours Apply final topcoat of WeatherPrufe WeatherKlad as per spread rate SPREAD RATEOn sealed surfaces, a spread rate of 6 – 8 sqm per litre per coat is typically obtained |
